U.S. scientists have found fossils of a very ancient brain already known to man. His owner was a representative of the family of arthropods (insects), which lived 500 million years ago in the Chinese province of Yunnan.
Paleontologists say the discovery in question is not very different from modern insect brain. According to researchers, this finding clearly demonstrates that after it was determined the basic characteristics of the body, during the evolution process of the body is subjected to only very small changes.
