Czech Republic, dies after six months of human life without hear

A father of a child in the Czech Republic died after he lived six months without a heart. He died at the age of 37 years.

According to the BBC, Jakub Halik had his heart instead of two mechanical pumps,
were placed in April after doctors discovered a very aggressive form of cancer.

Doctors say that death came by the liver and not the artificial heart failure.

Mr. Halik, a former firefighter, was waiting for a donor heart when he died.

Despite the fact that he had no pulse and always carrying with him a battery pack to supply the mechanical heart, Halik was able to walk and even to use the hospital hall.

This type of surgery was previously tested only in another patient, but he died after a week.

Halik could not do earlier transplant because the cancer does not allow him to take necessary medications.
